Privacy policy

Norvik is a two-person web design studio in Montreal, Quebec, run by Alex and Antoine. This policy explains how we handle the personal information we collect through this website.

The person responsible for protecting your personal information is Antoine. For any question or request about your information, write to vukolovantoine@gmail.com.

When you use the contact form, we collect:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the project type you choose;
• the budget range you choose;
• your message, and the language of the page you were using.

We don’t ask for more than we need. If you email us directly instead, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

Only to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare a quote for your project. We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

By sending the form, you consent to this use. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 07).

The contact form is handled by Formspree, a form service based in the United States. When you send the form, your information is processed and stored by Formspree, so it may be processed outside Quebec, under the laws of another jurisdiction.

Formspree then forwards your message to our email inbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). Google may also store it outside Quebec.

The company that hosts this website may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

We never sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone else.

We keep your information for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete it from our form account and our inbox.

If you become a client, we keep what is needed to carry out the project and for our accounting records, for as long as the law requires.

You can, at any time:

• ask what information we hold about you and get a copy (access);
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (correction);
• ask us to delete your information (deletion);
• withdraw your consent to our use of your information.

To do so, write to Antoine at vukolovantoine@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

This website uses no analytics, no tracking and no advertising cookies. It doesn’t store anything in your browser: your language and light or dark mode choices are not saved.

The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which shares your IP address with Google. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.

Only the two of us can access the messages you send. We protect the accounts that hold them with strong passwords. If an incident ever put your information at risk, we would let you know and report it as the law requires.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
